TXT Becomes 1st K-Pop Artist Since 2020 To Chart Album In Top 12 Of Billboard 200 For 4 Weeks

TXT has just achieved an impressive feat on the Billboard 200!

Last month, TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, earning the biggest U.S. sales week of any album since Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” first entered the chart in November 2022.

Now, after spending three consecutive weeks in the top 10 (making it only the fourth K-pop album in history to do so), “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” is still going strong in its fourth week on the Billboard 200. For the week ending on March 4, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” took No. 12 on Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States.

“The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” is only the third K-pop album ever to spend four weeks in the top 15 of the Billboard 200—and the first to do so since 2020. The only other albums to achieve the feat to date are BTS‘s “Map of the Soul: Persona” and “Map of the Soul: 7.”

Outside of the Billboard 200, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” spent its fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the World Albums chart. The mini album also held steady at No. 2 on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart as the second best-selling album of the week in the United States, in addition to ranking No. 5 on the Tastemaker Albums chart.

Finally, TXT held onto their spot at No. 11 on Billboard’s Artist 100 in their 38th overall week on the chart.

Congratulations to TXT!
