“The Heavenly Idol” has shared shocking stills from its upcoming episode!

Based on a popular webtoon and web novel, tvN’s “The Heavenly Idol” is a fantasy drama starring Kim Min Kyu as High Priest Rembrary, who suddenly wakes up one day to find himself in the body of Woo Yeon Woo, a member of the unsuccessful idol group Wild Animal.

In the last broadcast, Woo Yeon Woo made a sacred covenant with Oh Jung Shin (Oh Jin Seok), who unintentionally became the subordinate of the other world’s King of Darkness (Lee Jang Woo) after dabbling in black magic to chase him down. They decided that if Woo Yeon Woo won his third match of “Sing Survival,” Oh Jung Shin would confess the King of Darkness’s whereabouts. If he lost, Woo Yeon Woo would become Oh Jung Shin’s servant for a full day. However, right before he got on stage, the episode ended with the shocking kidnapping of Woo Yeon Woo.

Adding to the shock and confusion of the latest ending are the new stills of Woo Yeon Woo getting arrested while surrounded by reporters. Unsure of what is going on, Woo Yeon Woo looks frozen in place and deeply confused. Through tears, his manager Kim Dal (Go Bo Gyeol) watches on helplessly. After finally gaining some public interest with his new nickname “healing idol,” how will this incident affect Woo Yeon Woo’s rising popularity?
