Watch: Shin Ye Eun, Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, And Jung Gun Joo Get Entangled In Danger In "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse" Teaser

SBS has unveiled a second teaser which features a completely different atmosphere from its previous one!

Based on a hit web novel, SBS’s “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” is a mystery romance about an unconventional boarding house and three students who stay there as lodgers. Shin Ye Eun will star as Yoon Dan Oh, the owner of boarding house Yihwawon, while Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun Joo will play three “flower scholars” who rent rooms—and are each hiding their own secrets.

The new teaser kicks off with the teary face of the Joseon King Yi Chang (Hyun Woo), capturing viewers’ attention from the start. Yi Chang swings his sword and splatters blood, and while holding onto the court lady’s face, he asks her, “Who do you think will be the king?” Then, the serious and determined expressions of Jung Yoo Ha (Jung Gun Joo), Kim Si Yeol (Kang Hoon), and Kang San (Ryeoun) pass by on the screen, adding tension to the story.

The production team remarked, “This second teaser was produced with an emphasis on the mystery [element] which is the core of the story and as important as romance. We are confident that ‘The Secret Romantic Guesthouse’ will become a new type of historical drama that people of all genders and ages can enjoy, providing both bubbly romance and intense narratives that can be seen in traditional historical dramas.”

“The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” will premiere on March 20 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki!
