NewJeans' "Ditto" Overtakes BTS's "Dynamite" To Become Song With Most Days At No. 1 On Melon Chart

NewJeans has just made Melon history once again!

On March 5, NewJeans’ hit single “Ditto” spent its 76th day at No. 1 on Melon’s daily chart, making it the song with the most days at No. 1 in the history of the chart. (Melon, Korea’s largest music streaming service, first launched its daily chart on January 1, 2014.)

The previous record for song with most days at No. 1 was held by BTS‘s 2020 smash hit “Dynamite,” which topped the chart for 75 days.

Earlier this week, “Ditto” also became the first song in history to top Melon’s weekly chart for 10 consecutive weeks. (The only other song to have spent more than 10 weeks at No. 1 on the chart, though non-consecutively, is “Dynamite.”)
