Woo Do Hwan, Bona, And Cha Hak Yeon Are Tangled Up In A Complex Relationship In New Historical Drama
New stills for MBC’s upcoming historical drama “Joseon Attorney” (literal translation) have just been released!
“Joseon Attorney” will tell the story of an oejibu (an attorney in the Joseon Dynasty) who takes revenge on an enemy that caused the death of his parents through a trial. Although the drama starts with revenge, it will depict the growth of the protagonist who gradually becomes a real attorney that cares for the people and exemplifies how revenge stems from loneliness. Woo Do Hwan stars as the charming attorney Kang Han Soo, while WJSN’s Bona will play the caring Princess Lee Yeon Joo.
The newest stills also introduce Yoo Ji Seon, the Joseon era equivalent of the city’s mayor, played by VIXX’s Cha Hak Yeon. While he maintains his disapproval for Kang Han Soo’s methods and poor attempts at storytelling, he’s confused when faced with resentment from his people. How will Yoo Ji Seon, Kang Han Soo, and Lee Yeon Joo be connected throughout this story?
Yoo Ji Seon is betrothed to Lee Yeon Joo, but what will happen when Kang Han Soo comes into the picture? Viewers will have a lot to look forward to as this complex relationship unfolds.
The drama’s production team commented, “‘Joseon Attorney’ will lead a rather unconventional story about law, led by young actors Woo Do Hwan, Bona, and Cha Hak Yeon. Please look forward to how their fun and refreshing story about the law of Joseon will be portrayed.”
“Joseon Attorney” will premiere on March 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
