Hyeri, Park Se Wan, And More Confirmed For New Cheerleading Film
Starring Hyeri and Park Se Wan, “Victory” (literal title) has kicked off filming!
Directed by Park Beom Soo, “Victory” is a youth film which depicts the story of Geoje Commercial High School’s cheerleading team Millennium Girls, where eight team members with unique personalities are gathered. Set in the backdrop of 1999, “Victory” follows the passionate story of best friends Pil Seon and Mi Na as they put together a cheerleading team in order to be able to dance.
On March 6, the production team confirmed the cast lineup which includes Hyeri, Park Se Wan, Jo Aram (former gugudan member Hyeyeon), Choi Ji Soo, Baek Ha Yi, Kwon Yu Na, Yeom Ji Young, Lee Han Joo, and Park Hyo Eun, raising anticipation for the film.
Hyeri, who impressed through her role as Deok Seon in the drama “Reply 1988,” will take on the role of Pil Seon, a high school student who opens her eyes to the world of cheerleading, and lead the story with her unique and delightful energy.
Park Se Wan, who showcased impressive acting skills through the films “6/45” and “Life Is Beautiful,” will play Pil Seon’s best friend Mi Na and herald fantastic chemistry with Hyeri.
Jo Aram, who made her acting debut through the drama “The Killer’s Shopping List” will take on the role of Se Hyun, a transfer student from Seoul who used to be a cheerleader and who engages in a tense battle of nerves with Pil Seon.
On top of this, Choi Ji Soo, who appeared in dramas “Juvenile Justice” and “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist 2,” Baek Ha Yi, who starred in dramas such as “True Beauty” and “Imitation,” and Kwon Yu Na, has been active through various projects such as “Another Child” and “30 But 17,” as well as Yeom Ji Young, Lee Han Joo, and Park Hyo Eun have joined the cast as the Millenium Girls.
