Honey Lee, Lee Sun Gyun, And Gong Myung Form A Chaotic Trio In Upcoming Comedy Film "Killing Romance"
Honey Lee is reuniting with Lee Sun Gyun and Gong Myung in her latest film!
Helmed by “How to Use Guys With Secret Tips” director Lee Won Suk and penned by “The Beauty Inside” writer Park Jeong Ye, the upcoming comedy movie “Killing Romance” tells a story about a top celebrity who suddenly announces her retirement from the entertainment industry and her fateful encounter with a chaebol from a faraway island. However, after meeting a devoted fan, together they join hands to plot the most spectacular operation for her comeback. Just like the title suggests, the film promises to bring zero romance and maximum laughter.
Honey Lee is starring as Yeo Rae, a top star who becomes the laughingstock of the public due to her poor acting and eventually decides to retire. Lee Sun Gyun plays Jonathan, a chaebol that gives a helping hand to Yeo Rae after the latter immigrates to Qwala Island in the South Pacific to avoid the public eye. Lastly, Gong Myung is taking on the role of struggling student Bum Woo, a member of Yeo Rae’s fan club who is about to take the college entrance exam for the fourth time to enter South Korea’s No.1 university to keep up with his “family tradition.”
On March 14, “Killing Romance” revealed its first sneak peek of Honey Lee, Lee Sun Gyun, and Gong Myung in their characters. Check out the photos below!
