Watch: Idol Survival Show "Peak Time" Reveals Final Winners Of Collab Battle + Current Rankings

JTBC’s “Peak Time” has wrapped up its collaboration battle and its first round of voting!

“Peak Time” is a new idol survival show in which teams compete for the chance to become the next “worldwide idol group.” Unlike other audition programs, its contestants consist entirely of male idols who have already debuted, whether currently active or part of a disbanded group, and they compete “anonymously” under temporary group names that correspond to different hours of the day.

In addition to MC Lee Seung Gi, the survival show boasts a star-studded panel of judges that includes Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany, MAMAMOO‘s Moonbyul, Jay Park, Highlight’s Lee Gikwang, and INFINITE’s Kim Sungkyu.

Last week, the contestants kicked off their collaboration battle, forming alliances of 4 teams each before having each alliance split up into vocal, rap, and dance units. (Each vocal unit was limited to six members and each rap unit was limited to five members, with no member limit for the dance units.)

The four alliances for the round were as follows:

A: Teams 2:00 (NTX), 5:00 (ATBO), 9:00 (BLITZERS), 18:00 (BDC)

B: Teams 8:00 (DKB), 20:00 (M.O.N.T), 21:00 (24K), 23:00 (DGNA)

C: Teams 11:00 (VANNER), 13:00 (BAE173), 15:00 (BLK), 24:00 (solo contestants)

D: Teams 1:00 (DIGNITY), 4:00 (BXB), 7:00 (MASC), 14:00 (GHOST9)

Last week’s episode featured the rap unit battle and the first performance of the vocal unit battle (by Alliance C’s vocal unit), and the March 15 episode featured the remaining unit performances.

Vocal Battle

After all the judges’ scores for each performance were tallied, the final rankings for the vocal battle were as follows:

1. Winner: D vocal unit (767 points)
2. C vocal unit (719 points)
3. B vocal unit (709 points)
4. A vocal unit (692 points)

Dance Battle

B dance unit: AJR’s “Bang!”

A dance unit: Johnny Stimson’s “Gimme Gimme”

C dance unit: Christopher’s “Bad”

D dance unit: Little Mix’s “Power”

The dance battle was nearly too close to call, with only 14 points separating the first place winner from last place.

1. Winner: C dance unit (789 points)

4. A dance unit (773 points)

Finally, the episode ended by revealing the current rankings for its first round of global voting, which came to an end on March 16 at 12:30 a.m. KST. The final results of the first vote will be revealed on next week’s episode.
