Lee Jae Hoon has taken “going undercover” to the next level!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, SBS’s “Taxi Driver” is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice through the law. After a successful run in 2021, the hit drama has now returned for a second season.
Spoilers
This time around, Kim Do Gi (played by Lee Jae Hoon) has transformed into a shaman with a one-of-a-kind style. He pairs a unique pair of sunglasses with an intricately embroidered top, walking around the shrine grounds with a serious face. The smallest details have been refined, from the gold embroidery to the pearl necklace.
In Episode 7, Kim Do Gi will infiltrate a religious cult misusing people’s trust for profit in an attempt to take them down. Going beyond targeting just the main leader of the group, he aims to deliver a dramatic wake-up call to all those brainwashed by the organization. It will be interesting to see how he uses the element of shamanism to bring them down.
Throughout his involvement with the series, Lee Jae Hoon has showcased an array of personas, including his newlywed act carried out with Pyo Ye Jin in Season 2. His ability to flow through these characters seamlessly has been adding a great deal of fun to the drama, and this latest addition of shaman Kim Do Gi is expected to add to his already versatile collection.
