WJSN's Bona In Talks To Star In New Thriller Drama
Bona might star in a new thriller drama!
On March 23, Xportsnews reported that WJSN member Bona will star in the new drama “Pyramid Game” (literal title).
In response to the report, Bona’s agency King Kong by Starship shared, “Bona received an offer to star in ‘Pyramid Game’ and is currently reviewing [the offer].”
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Pyramid Game” is a thriller drama set in Baekyeon Girls’ High School. Each student gets graded through a popularity vote, and if they receive an F grade, they officially become victims of school violence.
Bona was offered the role of the lead character Sung Su Ji, who becomes the target of the pyramid game as soon as she transfers to the school. She gets severely bullied and tries to escape the situation.
Bona debuted as a member of girl group WJSN in 2016 and started acting in 2017 through the drama “The Best Hit.” Since then, she appeared in more dramas such as “Homemade Love Story” and “Twenty Five, Twenty One.”
Currently, Bona’s upcoming MBC drama “Joseon Attorney” is gearing up for its premiere on March 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST. “Joseon Attorney” will also be available on Viki—until then, check out a teaser for the drama here!
