"Boys Planet" Announces 2nd Eliminations + Star Master SHINee's Key Introduces 3rd Mission

“Boys Planet” has held the second Survivor Announcement Ceremony!

On the March 23 broadcast of Mnet’s “Boys Planet,” the second Survivor Announcement Ceremony was held where the top 28 of 51 trainees moved on to the next round.

Ahead of the eliminations, SHINee’s Key appeared as the program’s fifth Star Master to introduce the upcoming third mission. Titled the “Artist Battle,” Key explained of the mission, “You will create performances with new songs that have been worked on by top producers and choreographers. Through this mission, you must prove your musical talent. By proving your producing, choreographing, and rap making [skills], you will have to showcase your potential as an all-rounder.”

Regarding the benefits of the third mission, Key announced, “The first place team that receives the highest score from the star creators will all receive a team benefit of 200,000 points. For individual benefits, the member placing first will earn an individual benefit of 200,000 points.” Key continued, “The special benefit is [a performance on] ‘M Countdown.’ There’s also a fan meeting with the star creators.”

The five new tracks are “Switch” (Oriental Pop), “Super Charger” (Sentimental Hip Hop), “Over Me” (R&B), “Say My Name” (Newtro Synth Pop), and “En Gard” (Funk Pop).

After, “Boys Planet” proceeded with the Survivor Announcement Ceremony, unveiling a new top nine lineup. The program’s fourth Star Master BTOB’s Minhyuk announced the rankings by the teams from the “Dual Position Battle” mission.
