Ahn Jae Hyun, Baek Jin Hee, Cha Joo Young, And Jung Eui Jae Dish On What To Look Forward To In "The Real Has Come!"
The stars of KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” have shared their thoughts on the upcoming drama ahead of tonight’s premiere!
“The Real Has Come!” is a new drama about a single mom who gets into a contractual fake relationship with a man fervently opposed to marriage. Baek Jin Hee will star as Oh Yeon Doo, a language instructor who is a rising star in the internet lecture industry, while Ahn Jae Hyun will star as Gong Tae Kyung, a talented obstetrician and gynecologist who is determined not to get married.
“The Glory” star Cha Joo Young will play the role of Gong Tae Kyung’s first love Jang Se Jin, while Jung Eui Jae will play Baek Jin Hee’s ex-boyfriend Kim Joon Ha.
When asked to choose a keyword or phrase to sum up the drama, leading lady Baek Jin Hee replied, “It’s a drama that resembles a spring palette. This drama depicts all these characters with their own unique colors coming together to create one drama and one family, and it’s exactly like a spring palette.”
Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Hyun chose the Korean dish “bibimbap” as his keyword. “Although rice and each of the ingredients are delicious when eaten separately, they become even tastier when they’re mixed and eaten together as bibimbap,” said the actor. “Just like the charm of bibimbap, this drama’s charm comes from how the characters mingle.”
Cha Joo Young asked viewers to focus on the drama’s title, noting, “I feel like there are many meanings hidden in the title of the show. I think viewers will be able to enjoy the show as the full drama package—a complete gift set with lots of diverse charms.”
Finally, Jung Eui Jae described the series as “a drama worth investing in.” He explained, “We’re all working hard on filming in order to create a drama that is worthy of viewers’ precious time. There will be lots of laughs, shocks, and touching moments.”
“The Real Has Come!” premieres on March 25 at 8:05 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.
