BTS's Jimin Breaks Record For Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Solo Artist In History

BTS’s Jimin has made history once again with his first solo album!

Last week, Jimin made his long-awaited solo debut with “FACE“—and by the end of the day, “FACE” had become the first by any solo artist in Hanteo history to sell over a million copies on its first day.

Hanteo Chart has now reported that “FACE” went on to sell an impressive total of 1,454,223 copies in the first week of its release (March 24 to 30), setting a new record for the highest first-week sales of any album by a solo artist in Hanteo history.

Even including groups, Jimin is now the artist with the eighth-highest first-week sales overall, bested only by his own group BTS, TXT, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, NCT DREAM, NCT 127, and BLACKPINK.
