BLACKPINK's Jisoo Breaks Record For Biggest Spotify Debut By A Female K-Pop Soloist
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has made Spotify history with her solo debut!
On March 31, Jisoo made her highly-anticipated solo debut with her first single album “ME” and its chart-topping title track “FLOWER.”
Within the first 24 hours of its release, “FLOWER” racked up a whopping 4,674,337 filtered streams on Spotify—setting a new record for the highest number of first-day streams for any song by a female K-pop soloist in the history of the platform.
Both of the tracks on “ME” also debuted within the top 20 of Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart: “FLOWER” entered the daily chart at No. 6, while B-side “All Eyes On Me” followed at No. 16 after amassing an impressive 3,104,156 filtered streams on its first day.
Outside of Spotify, Jisoo has already set a new record for the highest first-day and first-week sales of any female soloist in Hanteo history, as well as the highest 24-hour view count of any K-pop music video released this year.
Congratulations to Jisoo on her record-breaking solo debut!
