BLACKPINK's Jisoo Becomes 1st Female Solo Million Seller In Hanteo History With "ME"

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has just achieved a historic feat with her solo debut!

On April 4, Hanteo Chart officially announced that as of 5:30 p.m. KST that day, Jisoo’s first single album “ME” had already sold a total of 1,021,447 copies.

With this achievement, Jisoo has become the first female solo artist in Hanteo history ever to sell a million copies of an album.

Additionally, on just the fifth day of its release, “ME” has already become the third best-selling solo album in Hanteo history, bested only by BTS’s Jimin’s “FACE” and Lim Young Woong’s “IM HERO.”

Last week, “ME” also managed to break the record for the highest first-week sales of any female solo album in just one day, racking up an incredible 876,249 sales within just the first day of its release.
