Yoo Ah In Being Investigated For Zolpidem Use
Yoo Ah In is additionally being investigated for zolpidem use.
On April 11, an official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency shared, “In a recent investigation, actor Yoo Ah In was suspected of using zolpidem. We plan to summon him for further investigation soon.”
Yoo Ah In is alleged to have illegally obtained a zolpidem prescription for non-medical purposes. Zolpidem is a psychoactive drug used to treat sleep disorders such as insomnia.
Earlier on March 27 after Yoo Ah In’s questioning, the police reportedly conducted a search and seizure of the hospital that prescribed zolpidem to Yoo Ah In.
Beside zolpidem, Yoo Ah In is reported to have tested positive for four types of drugs including propofol, marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine.
