TXT Becomes 2nd K-Pop Artist In Billboard 200 History To Spend 10 Consecutive Weeks In Top 80
TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” has rounded out 10 weeks in the top 80 of the Billboard 200!
Back in February, TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and it has consistently remained in the top 80 every week since. The EP has also sold the most copies of any album in the United States in 2023 thus far (across all genres).
For the week ending on April 15, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” held relatively steady at No. 76—marking the mini album’s 10th consecutive week on the chart.
TXT is now only the second K-pop artist in history to chart an album for 10 weeks in the top 80 of the Billboard 200. They are also only the second K-pop artist ever to chart three different albums for 10 weeks each on the Billboard 200, following BTS. (Both “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” spent over 10 weeks each on the chart.)
Outside of the Billboard 200, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” stayed strong at No. 5 on the World Albums chart, and it also climbed back up to No. 8 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 9 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Additionally, TXT rose to No. 48 on Billboard’s Artist 100 in their 44th non-consecutive week on the chart.
Congratulations to TXT!
