Ong Seong Wu Enlists In The Military + Shares Heartfelt Letter To Fans
Ong Seong Wu has written a heartfelt letter to fans as he enlisted in the military.
On April 17, Ong Seong Wu enlisted in the military.
Before officially enlisting, Ong Seong Wu posted a letter titled “Salute!” on his official fan cafe and addressed his fan club WELO:
Finally, the day of my enlistment has come.
My heart breaks to say goodbye for a while to people who are precious to me, but it’s something that I eventually have to do and something that I of course ought to do, so instead of saying a lot of words, I’d rather confidently and cheerfully say that I’ll come back safely.
I think it was a relief that I was able to talk face-to-face with WELO before I go.
Listening directly to the sincere words of support and concern from WELO, who I used to see only through text, made me gain strength and made me feel confident that I’ll be able to spend my time in the military bravely and energetically.
I am enlisting while carrying your precious and valuable hearts that you’ve sent my way through posts that you have posted since the news of my enlistment and the support you gave me since last night.
If you think about the time we’ve spent together and the time we’ll spend together in the future, this is a very short time.
I’ll be back as an even cooler person.
I’ll take care of my health and will be back safely.

Last month, Ong Seong Wu’s agency Fantagio announced his military date and stated that Ong Seong Wu will carry out his military service as an active duty soldier of the army.
