Go Ah Sung In Talks To Star In New Historical Drama
Go Ah Sung may star in a new historical drama!
On April 17, STARNEWS reported that Go Ah Sung has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming drama “The Love Story of Chunhwa” (working title).
Later the same day, an official from Go Ah Sung’s agency KeyEast told OSEN, “It is true that Go Ah Sung received an offer from the production team of the new drama ‘The Love Story of Chunhwa.’ However, it has not been confirmed yet, and she is currently considering her appearance [in the drama].”
“The Love Story of Chunhwa” is a romance historical drama that follows the story of a princess who sets out to find a husband for herself instead of marrying the one chosen by her father, the king. The drama also shows the search for the person who drew the princess as the star of a chunhwa (erotic pantings from an earlier period).
Go Ah Sung has been offered the role of the protagonist, the princess. If she confirms her appearance, “The Love Story of Chunhwa” will be Go Ah Sung’s first 19+ rated work since she made her debut as a child actress in 2005.
“The Love Story of Chunhwa” will be produced by Beyond J, the production company behind dramas such as “Nevertheless,” “The Killer’s Shopping List,” “Recipe for Farewell,” and “Somebody,” and will be presented as a TVING original drama.
