BTS's Jimin And BLACKPINK's Jisoo Stay Strong On Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. Chart + FIFTY FIFTY Becomes 7th K-Pop Group To Land Top 10 Hit

Three K-pop artists have made it into the top 10 of Billboard’s global charts!

On April 17 local time, Billboard announced the top 10 rankings of the latest Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated April 22).

Both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts began in September 2020 and rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world. While the Global 200 includes data from around the world, the Global Excl. U.S. chart considers data from territories excluding the United States.

In BTS’s Jimin’s third consecutive week on the Global 200, “Like Crazy” maintained a top 10 position at No. 10. He also spent a third week on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with “Like Crazy” ranked at No. 8.

Additionally on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, “FLOWER” by BLACKPINK’s Jisoo recorded its second week in the top 10 at No. 6, following its debut last week at No. 2.

Lastly, FIFTY FIFTY entered the top 10 of the Global Excl. U.S. chart for the first time in their career with their viral hit “Cupid.” In the song’s fifth week on this chart, FIFTY FIFTY steadily climbed from No. 22 to No. 9, recording a 35 percent jump in streams with 40.2 million, and a 13 percent jump to 1,000 sold outside the United States.

This latest achievement now makes FIFTY FIFTY only the seventh K-pop group to score a top 10 hit on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, following BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, IVE, NewJeans, and BIGBANG.

Congratulations to Jimin, Jisoo, and FIFTY FIFTY!
