Choo Young Woo Joins Joo Ji Hoon In Talks For New Medical Drama

Choo Young Woo and Joo Ji Hoon may star in a new drama together!

On April 18, Choo Young Woo’s agency J,wide Company shared, “Choo Young Woo is reviewing [the offer] to star in ‘Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour’ (literal title).”

“Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour” is based on a web novel written by Lee Nak Joon (Hansanleega), an otolaryngologist and YouTuber. The drama captures the story of Doctor Baek Kang Hyuk, the head of the severe trauma center at a university hospital and a newly appointed professor, as a severe trauma team forms with him at the center.

Choo Young Woo was offered the role of Yang Jae Won, the only son in a family of doctors. He enters medical school with top grades and receives a full tuition scholarship.

Previously in January, Joo Ji Hoon was also reported to be in talks for the lead role of Baek Kang Hyuk, a genius doctor who is tall, handsome, and also possesses unrivaled surgical skills.
