Honda Hitomi And Yabuki Nako Reported To Join "Queendom Puzzle" + Mnet Briefly Comments
Mnet’s upcoming survival program “Queendom Puzzle” has responded to reports of Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi starring on the show!
On April 19, The Seoul Economic Daily reported that former IZ*ONE members Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi will be starring on “Queendom Puzzle.”
In response to the report, a source from Mnet shared, “The overall casting is in progress, so it is difficult to say at this stage.”
Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi debuted as members of IZ*ONE through Mnet’s 2018 survival program “Produce 48.” Since then, Yabuki Nako returned as a member of HKT48 and graduated from the group this month, also partaking as an MC on “The Idol Band: Boy’s Battle.” Honda Hitomi returned as a member of AKB48 and starred in the drama “Hokuo Kojirase Nikki” (“Diary of a Girl in Love With Scandinavia”).
“Queendom Puzzle” is a spin-off variety show that will form a powerful global project girl group by taking members from currently promoting girl groups as well as female artists and putting them together like a puzzle.
The first season of “Queendom” premiered in 2019 and featured legendary female artists including AOA, MAMAMOO, Oh My Girl, (G)-IDLE, Park Bom, and Lovelyz. Season 2 introduced Hyolyn, Brave Girls, WJSN, LOONA, Kep1er, and VIVIZ. MAMAMOO and WJSN took home the crown during their respective seasons.
