On May 17 at 6 p.m. KST, Mijoo released her first single album “Movie Star” along with the music video for the track.

Lovelyz’s Mijoo has finally revealed the date for her long-awaited solo debut!

On April 19, Mijoo’s agency Antenna shared, “Mijoo will debut as a solo artist on May 17. The album is a single album and it will showcase music and concepts that present Mijoo’s unique identity.”

Mijoo’s upcoming album will mark her her first-ever solo release in nine years after she first debuted as a member of the girl group Lovelyz in 2014. After all the members of the group parted ways upon the expiration of their contracts with Woollim Entertainment, Mijoo signed an exclusive contract with Antenna and actively appeared on various television programs including “How Do You Play?” and “Sixth Sense,” showcasing her unique charms. Recently, Mijoo formed a group called JUJU SECRET with Park Jin Joo for “How Do You Play?” and promoted their song “Lonely Night” on various music shows.
