TXT Becomes 2nd K-Pop Artist In Billboard 200 History To Spend 11 Consecutive Weeks In Top 100
TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” is holding steady on the Billboard 200!
Back in February, TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—and ever since, it has successfully remained the best-selling album in the United States in 2023 thus far across all genres (in terms of pure sales).
For the week ending on April 22, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” spent its 11th consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 98—making TXT only the second K-pop artist in history to chart an album for 11 weeks in the top 100 (following BTS).
Additionally, TXT is only the second K-pop artist ever to have three different albums spend 11 weeks each on the Billboard 200 (also following BTS): both their 2021 album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and their 2022 mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” charted for over 11 weeks following their respective releases.
Outside of the Billboard 200, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” climbed back up to No. 3 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to holding onto its spots at No. 8 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 9 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Finally, TXT stayed strong at No. 55 on Billboard’s Artist 100 in their 45th non-consecutive week on the chart.
Congratulations to TXT on their ongoing success on the Billboard charts!
