Jin Ki Joo And Kim Dong Wook Travel To The Past To Solve Present-Day Problems In "My Perfect Stranger"
KBS has unveiled the main poster for its upcoming drama “My Perfect Stranger”!
“My Perfect Stranger” is a fantasy drama about the strange events that unfold when a news anchor named Yoon Hae Joon (played by Kim Dong Wook), who wants to uncover the truth behind a serial murder case from the past, meets Baek Yoon Young (Jin Ki Joo), who travels through time to prevent her parents’ wedding. After getting stuck in the year 1987, the two realize that their goals may be connected.
The newly released poster for the drama resembles an old, faded photograph that has been folded up and tucked away for a long time: a perfectly fitting image for the two leads, who have gone back in time to 1987. As Yoon Hae Joon and Baek Yoon Young gaze deeply into one another’s eyes, the poster raises questions of what kind of relationship the two will have in the future—or, more accurately, the past.
Meanwhile, going against the well-known saying “Time solves all problems,” the poster’s caption intriguingly reads: “Time didn’t solve everything.”
The producers of “My Perfect Stranger” commented, “In the story, as Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo ultimately wind up traveling through time for the same goal, they begin to rely on one another. Please look forward to what kind of story the two of them will create as they hide their identities in 1987 and live amongst the seemingly ordinary—but not quite—people of Woojungri.”
“My Perfect Stranger” will premiere on May 1 at 9:50 p.m. KST. Check out the latest teaser for the drama here!
