BTS's Jimin's "Like Crazy" Becomes 1st K-Pop Solo Song In A Decade To Spend 4 Weeks On Billboard's Hot 100
BTS’s Jimin has spent a full month on Billboard’s Hot 100 with his solo song “Like Crazy”!
Earlier this month, Jimin made history with his solo debut album “FACE” by becoming the first K-pop soloist ever to top Billboard’s Hot 100 and Artist 100, as well as the first to enter the top 2 of the Billboard 200.
Weeks later, both “Like Crazy” and “FACE” are still going strong on the Billboard charts. For the week ending on April 29, “Like Crazy” took No. 85 on Billboard’s Hot 100 (its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States), marking its fourth consecutive week on the chart.
Notably, “Like Crazy” is only the third K-pop solo song in history to spend four weeks on the Hot 100, following PSY‘s iconic hits “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” (from 2012 and 2013 respectively).
Jimin is also now the first Korean solo artist in history to chart for four weeks in the top 60 of the Billboard 200, where “FACE” ranked No. 58 in its fourth straight week on the chart.
Additionally, “FACE” has become the first K-pop solo album ever to spend four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, while “Like Crazy” returned to No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart (marking its third non-consecutive week at the top).
“FACE” also swept the No. 11 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart, while Jimin charted at No. 31 on the Artist 100. Meanwhile, “Like Crazy” came in at No. 7 on the Digital Song Sales chart, No. 17 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 25 on the Global 200.
Congratulations to Jimin on his ongoing success on the Billboard charts!
