THE BOYZ's Sunwoo On His Tastes In Alcohol, The Kind Of Lyrics He Wants To Write, And More

The BOYZ’s Sunwoo recently posed for his very first solo pictorial!

Sunwoo, who will be gracing the pages of Elle Korea magazine’s May issue, sat down for a post-shoot interview to chat about his recent activities and more.

When asked how he felt about the shoot, Sunwoo replied, “I felt like [the concept] went well with my identity, so I thought to myself that I wouldn’t need to force anything.”

As Sunwoo is currently appearing on the alcohol-themed web variety show “BbamBbam Social Club,” he also spoke about his preferences when it comes to alcoholic drinks.

Naming “pineapple-flavored cocktails” as his poison of choice, the idol explained, “I can’t stand the bitter taste of alcohol, so I only drink cocktails that taste like sugary beverages.”

As an artist, Sunwoo has been consistently writing and making music for years. When asked what kind of lyrics he wants to write and what emotion he’d want to capture, he responded, “Just as THE B and THE BOYZ experience joys and sorrows together, as the years go by, I think I naturally find myself relating to feelings of heartache.”

As for what Sunwoo considers his driving force, the idol shared that it comes from within.

“[It’s] my certainty in myself,” he said. “If I didn’t have confidence, I wouldn’t be able to keep going.”
