Watch: "Earth Arcade 2" Drops Fun 1st Teaser For New Season

Get ready for the second season of tvN’s hit variety show “Earth Arcade”!

Helmed by PDs (producing directors) Na Young Suk and Park Hyun Yong, “Earth Arcade” is variety show based on the premise of four warriors gathering to capture the moon rabbit that has escaped to Earth. Season 1 cast members IVE’s An Yu Jin, Oh My Girl’s Mimi, Lee Young Ji, and Lee Eun Ji will all be returning for Season 2.

On April 28, “Earth Arcade 2” released its very first teaser for the upcoming season, which will take the cast to Finland.

The hilariously chaotic preview begins with the four stars screaming and cracking up as they go sledding. Meanwhile, the caption reads, “Just like sledding is more fun when there’s ‘two’ of you, it’s also more fun when there’s a season ‘two.'”

The cast then goes for an icy dip in a frozen lake, which leads to even more screaming as the four members struggle to adjust to the cold water. The producers joke in the captions, “In order to cool down the fiery cast, we took them to a country where the weather was cold. But far from cooling them down… it was chilling instead.”

The captions go on to playfully acknowledge that the snowy footage doesn’t quite match the current weather, noting, “With the weather getting hotter these days, you must be wondering what kind of strange programming schedule this is. But instead of your air conditioner, you can just turn on tvN instead [to cool down].”

The clip ends with the cast members happily making snow angels together after shouting, “Earth Arcade Season 2!”

“Earth Arcade 2” will premiere on May 12 at 8:50 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
