TXT Ties BLACKPINK's Record For K-Pop Artist With 2nd Most Cumulative Weeks On Billboard 200

A full three months after its release, TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” is still going strong on the Billboard 200!

Earlier this year, TXT’s latest mini album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—and as April winds to a close, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” still holds the title of the best-selling album in the United States in 2023 across all genres (in terms of pure sales).

For the week ending on April 29, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” successfully remained on the Billboard 200 at No. 144, marking its 12th consecutive week on the chart.

Notably, TXT is only the second K-pop artist in history to chart three different albums for 10 weeks each on the Billboard 200 (following BTS). Before “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” both “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” spent over 12 weeks each on the chart.

Additionally, TXT has now tied BLACKPINK‘s record for the second most cumulative weeks on the Billboard 200 of any K-pop artist—both groups have spent a total of 44 weeks each on the chart across all of their respective albums.

Outside of the Billboard 200, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” held steady at No. 4 in its 12th consecutive week on Billboard’s World Albums chart, and it also swept the No. 10 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.

Finally, TXT took No. 67 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week, marking their 46th non-consecutive week on the chart.

Congratulations to TXT!
