"Boys Planet" Group ZEROBASEONE Announces Official Fan Club Name
Fans of “Boys Planet” group ZEROBASEONE officially have a name!
On May 1, ZEROBASEONE held a live stream on Mnet Plus to celebrate the opening of their community on the platform. During the stream, ZEROBASEONE introduced themselves with their official greeting for the first time, answered fan questions, and revealed their official fan club name.
ZEROBASEONE’s fans are named ZEROSE, which is a combination of “zero” and “rose.” Kim Ji Woong further described the meaning by explaining the link between ZEROSE and ZEROBASEONE’s shortened name ZB1, which is read in Korean as “ze-be-one.” Kim Ji Woong shared, “If you take ‘ze-be-one’ out of ZEROBASEONE, you’re left with ‘rose.’ So if you combine ZB1 with rose, you get ZEROBASEONE. It captures the meaning that us ZB1 and rose are one.” He added that while many fans suggested a lot of meaningful names, the group decided on ZEROSE through a team discussion.
ZEROBASEONE, the project group formed on Mnet’s “Boys Planet,” is currently gearing up to make a mid-year debut.
