SNUPER Announces Disbandment After 7 Years In Heartfelt Letter
After over seven years together, the members of SNUPER are going their separate ways.
On May 3, WIDMAY Entertainment officially announced that all six members of the group would be leaving the agency following the expiration of their exclusive contracts.
The agency added, “From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank both the SNUPER members, who have been with us for a long time, and all the fans who gave SNUPER their love. We will be sincerely rooting for the members in the future. We ask that the fans also give the members lots of encouragement and support as they face a new start.”
Immediately following the announcement, SNUPER leader Taewoong posted a handwritten letter to their fans in which he shared, “After countless discussions with the agency and the other members, we have decided that all of the members, as well as the agency, will cheer each other on from separate places in the future.”
Taewoong went on to express his gratitude to his fans, the agency staff, and all of the other SNUPER members, adding, “I became the person I am today because I met SWING [SNUPER’s fandom] under the name of SNUPER and was able to give and receive love, as well as the influence we had on one another. In a similar way, I think the memories I made during my activities as [a member of] SNUPER will become a huge source of strength that will help me keep on living my life in the future.”
Referring to all the SNUPER members by their given names, Taewoong continued, “Please cheer on Hyunggeun, Sangil, Taewoong, Sunghyuk, Sangho, and Sebin’s new choices and fresh starts!!”
