Song Joong Ki And Hong Sa Bin Find Each Other In A "Hopeless" World In Poster For Upcoming Noir Film

Song Joong Ki’s upcoming noir film “Hopeless” has dropped a new poster!

“Hopeless” (also known as “Hwaran”), which marks director Kim Chang Hoon’s feature film debut, is about a young man named Yeon Gyu (Hong Sa Bin) who wants to escape his hellish reality. When he meets Chi Geon (Song Joong Ki), who’s in charge of middle management for an organization, the two set out together in the dangerous world. The film also stars BIBI.

The newly released poster features two men, Yeon Gyu, an 18-year-old boy who has no place to lean on in a harsh reality, and Chi Geon, a mobster who has lived life in his own way, standing all by themselves in the middle of nowhere. The lonely-looking backs of the two men staring at a place far beyond the river raise viewers’ curiosity as to how they end up being with each other and what they will look for in a hopeless world.

“Hopeless” will be screening in the Un Certain Regard section at the 76th Cannes Film Festival which will take place from May 16 to 27. Stay tuned!
