Lee El, Jin Seo Yeon, Cha Ye Ryun, And More Compete Fiercely On Social Media In Posters For Upcoming Thriller Drama
ENA has unveiled new character posters featuring the leads of its upcoming drama “Happiness Battle” (literal translation)!
Upcoming ENA drama “Happiness Battle” is a suspense thriller about a group of mothers who compete fiercely for happiness on social media. After one of them dies under mysterious circumstances, a battle ensues between those who want to hide the secret and those who want to reveal it. The fierce psychological warfare centered on social media, which is inseparable from modern society, and the suspense it creates are expected to provide viewers with the utmost fun.
The released posters are designed to look like their real-life social media photos, with hashtags that poke fun at each character’s quirks.
The first poster has hashtags “#Banker,” “#Lonely,” and “#Truth,” and captures Lee El as Jang Mi Ho, a level-headed bank marketing associate who dives into the world of these mothers to reveal the secrets of their social media “happiness battle.” As she doesn’t like to cross the line, she maintains moderate boundaries in her relationships with others. However, her lack of deep relationships with people she can open up to leaves her lonely inside. Given her tendency to stay away from people, there is a lot of curiosity about the “truth” that leads Jang Mi Ho to step into the world of others.
In the next image tagged “#CEO,” “#Responsibility,” and “#Craving,” Jin Seo Yeon is captured with a charismatic expression as Song Jung Ah, the founder and CEO of the beauty nutraceutical company Inner Spirit. Song Jung Ah, who consistently longs for a higher rank, is the representative of both her company and the mothers’ community. As someone with a clear and strong sense of responsibility, viewers can look forward to seeing how she fights to protect her positions.
With hashtags “#Influencer,” “#Glamor,” and “#Jealousy,” the next poster captures Cha Ye Ryun as Kim Na Young, an influencer whose extreme privilege makes her feel that much more jealous when she sees what she does not have. Stay tuned to see how Kim Na Young’s bluffing impacts “Happiness Battle” as her jealousy drives her to always prove her superiority to others.
Up next is Park Hyo Joo flashing a sly and mysterious gaze as Oh Yoo Jin, whose poster is tagged “#Full-TimeHousewife,” “#Perfect,” and “#Secret.” Dubbed a “Super Mom,” Oh Yoo Jin is a full-time housewife who is endlessly supportive of her husband and children. What kind of secret hides beneath the hard shell of Oh Yoo Jin, who does not allow even the slightest error?
The last poster has a different atmosphere and shows Woo Jung Won as Hwang Ji Ye with the hashtags: “#WorkingMom,” “#Bold,” and “#Surveillance.” Even without the fancy clothes and accessories, her confident expression speaks volumes about her bold personality. At first glance, she seems distant from social media, but is actually watching the mothers more closely than anyone else. Stay tuned to see how Hwang Ji Ye will influence “Happiness Battle”!
ENA’s “Happiness Battle” will premiere on May 31 at 9 p.m. KST, taking over the time slot currently occupied by “True to Love.”
