“All That We Loved” has unveiled new stills of Jo Joon Young!
TVING’s “All That We Loved” is a romance drama about the love triangle that forms when two best friends—one of whom has donated a kidney to the other—both fall for the same transfer student in high school.
In the drama, Jo Joon Young plays Go Joon Hee, a handsome top student at Hara High School who simultaneously has an innocent boyishness and a mature demeanor. Go Joon Hee also has an eye-catching bromance with his best friend Go Yoo, who is played by EXO‘s Sehun.
Spoilers
In the drama’s first two episodes, it was revealed that the seemingly perfect Go Joon Hee actually has a sad and painful backstory. After losing his parents and older brother at a young age, Go Joon Hee experiences a strong sense of loss. In his lonely childhood, he ended up meeting Go Yoo as if by fate, and the two became friends. As Go Yoo filled Go Joon Hee’s otherwise quiet household with his grandmother with laughs and liveliness, he inevitably began to cherish Go Yoo as a special person in his life.
Additionally, Go Joon Hee was seen suffering from tinnitus (ringing in ears), implying that something was wrong with his health. Between Go Joon Hee’s condition and the fact that he was getting beaten up by bullies at the end of the second episode, viewers are curious to see how his story will develop.
In the newly released stills, Jo Joon Young exudes the charm of an innocent eighteen-year-old boy with his flawless physique and charming visuals, and a retro aesthetic that seamlessly blends with the ambiance of the drama set in 2006.
On top of capturing viewers’ attention with his bromance with Go Yoo, Go Joon Hee is drawing attention for his heart-fluttering romance with transfer student Han So Yeon (played by Jang Yeo Bin).
The next two episodes of “All That We Loved” will air on May 12.
In the meantime, catch up with the first two episodes below!
