Hong Sa Bin, Song Joong Ki, And BIBI Are Fighters Who Do Not Give Up In New Noir Film "Hopeless"

Upcoming noir film “Hopeless” has dropped the first stills featuring Hong Sa Bin, Song Joong Ki, and BIBI!

“Hopeless” (also known as “Hwaran”), which marks director Kim Chang Hoon’s feature film debut, is about a young man named Yeon Gyu (Hong Sa Bin) who wants to escape his hellish reality. When he meets Chi Geon (Song Joong Ki), who’s in charge of middle management for an organization, the two set out together in the dangerous world.

The newly released stills capture Yeon Gyu, Chi Geon, and Ha Yan (BIBI) in precarious situations. In the first still, Yeon Gyu, an 18-year-old boy who has no place to lean on, rides a motorcycle dangerously. His face is covered with scars, and his eyes look tense, raising curiosity about the situation that he is in.

Another still captures the charisma of the gang’s mid-tier boss Chi Geon, raising anticipation for Song Joong Ki’s new acting transformation.

The fierce confrontation between Yeon Gyu and Chi Geon stimulates viewers’ curiosity as to what kind of story the two will portray.

In addition, BIBI, who transformed into Ha Yan, showcases her strength and determination, not feeling intimidated even in a harsh reality.

“Hopeless” will be screening in the Un Certain Regard section at the 76th Cannes Film Festival which will take place from May 16 to 27. Stay tuned!
