With just the last two episodes of the series remaining, here are three key points to focus on as “Joseon Attorney” wraps up!
Spoilers
Warning: mention of suicide.
1. What lies ahead of Kang Han Soo, who has now lost all of his family?
In the previous episode of “Joseon Attorney,” Han Soo had an emotional reunion with his younger sister Eun Soo (Han So Eun). However, the reunion didn’t have a happy ending as Eun Soo was cornered by the power of those above her and eventually pushed to take her own life. Upon the tragic death of Eun Soo, Han Soo now suffered the miserable loss of his only family. How will Han Soo, whose ultimate motivation for taking on lawsuits all around town was to avenge his parents’ unjust death, will solve his seething resentment that finally reached the boiling point now that his sister has also passed?
2. Yeon Joo to Ji Seon: “Will you marry me?” — Will she end up with him?
At the end of the previous episode, Yeon Joo visited Ji Seon and surprised viewers when she asked him, “Will you marry me?” Big questions about what has shifted in Yeon Joo and Ji Seon’s relationship to have prompted Yeon Joo to ask him that, as well as why Yeon Joo ended up “choosing” Ji Seon and not Han Soo—whom she had seemingly cleared up all of her misunderstandings with and have gotten closer to again—still remain unanswered as we gear up for the grand finale.
3. Kang Han Soo and King Yi Hyul’s effort to bring down the invincible Yoo Je Se
Even after watching the deaths of his loyal followers—Master Jang (Lee Joon Hyuk), Park Je Soo (Jo Hee Bong), and Chu Young Woo (Choi Moo Sung)—Yoo Ji Seon’s father Yoo Je Se (Chun Ho Jin) didn’t bat an eyelash and continued to abuse his power. Yoo Je Se who is disapproved of King Yi Hyul (Song Geon Hee), continues to turn the royal family upside down by controlling and manipulating him to solidify his own position. With Yoo Je Se’s momentum keeps building up day by day, one of the major points viewers should keep an eye on is to find out what kind of strategy Kang Han Soo and King Yi Hyul will take to bring him down.
The final two episodes of “Joseon Attorney” will air on May 19 and 20 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
