"Black Knight" Responds To Plagiarism Allegations

The producers of Netflix’s new original series “Black Knight” have responded to allegations of plagiarism.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Black Knight” is a new drama set in a dystopian future where pollution has become so severe that the only way to survive is to have everything delivered. The cast of star-studded series include Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Heon, Esom, and Kang You Seok.

After its premiere last week, some gamers accused the series of having plagiarized the game “Death Stranding,” which was released in 2019.

On May 16, the producers of “Black Knight” dismissed the allegations by pointing out, “‘Black Knight’ was produced based on the webtoon of the same name by Lee Yun Kyun, which began in 2016.”
