2PM's Lee Junho Is An Ice-Cold Chaebol Heir Who Falls In Love With Girls' Generation's YoonA In "King The Land"
JTBC’s upcoming drama “King the Land” has shared a new glimpse of 2PM’s Lee Junho in his starring role!
“King the Land” will tell the story of the unlikely romance between Gu Won (Lee Junho), a chaebol heir who can’t stand fake smiles, and the constantly smiling Cheon Sa Rang (Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA), who becomes known as the “queen of smiles” while working her way up at the King Hotel.
With no sense of humor and little patience for others, Gu Won is always wearing a cold expression with no trace of a smile. Despite being a rich, intelligent, and handsome heir with every advantage, Gu Won has zero talent in the dating department due to his prickly and stubborn personality. Because it’s been years since his last romantic relationship, Gu Won’s heart has seemingly frozen over.
However, when Gu Won returns to the King Hotel in an attempt to recover his memories of his mother, he meets his polar opposite in hotelier Cheon Sa Rang. Although they are different in every way, from their personalities to their backgrounds, Cheon Sa Rang eventually manages to thaw Gu Won’s ice-cold heart—and one photo from the upcoming drama shows the frosty heir wearing an uncharacteristic shy smile.
“King the Land” will premiere on June 17 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out the latest teaser for the drama here!
