Lee Joon Hyuk And Aoki Munetaka Transform Into Heinous Villains In "The Roundup : No Way Out"
New posters of the ruthless villains in “The Roundup : No Way Out” have been released!
The highly-anticipated third installment to Ma Dong Seok and Yoon Kye Sang’s hit 2017 action film “The Outlaws,” “The Roundup : No Way Out” tells the story of detective Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok), who has newly transferred to the metropolitan investigation team. With his new squad, Ma Seok Do will attempt to chase down criminals Joo Sung Chul (Lee Joon Hyuk) and Ricky (Aoki Munetaka) who are involved in a drug case.
“The Roundup : No Way Out” features two villains for the first time in the series. Among them, Joo Sung Chul is a character who does not lose his composure under any circumstances and does not hesitate to do ruthless evil for his own benefit.
Actor Lee Joon Hyuk shared that he bulked up about 20 kilograms (approximately 44.1 pounds) and received vocal training for this role. He said, “I started preparing right away at an action school as soon as I was cast, and I aimed [to show] a new form of action in an ever-changing environment. There have been many changes in the six months of filming.”
The poster of Ricky also captures attention with his intense appearance. Ricky, who came from Japan to circulate drugs, is a heinous and tenacious person who never lets go of the target he is aiming for. Ricky will showcase a different charm from Joo Sung Chul by performing action with a flashy longsword.
Actor Aoki Munetaka, who took on the challenge to film a Korean film for the first time through “The Roundup : No Way Out,” shared, “‘The Roundup : No Way Out’ will be an unforgettable and valuable experience in my life. Everyone was very passionate and heated on set.”
“The Roundup : No Way Out” is set to premiere on May 31. Stay tuned!
