B1A4's Cha Sun Woo, Ha Seung Ri, Choi Yeon, And Shin Ji Won Are Campus Couples In 'The Villain Of Romance' Posters

MBC’s upcoming drama “The Villain of Romance” has unveiled new posters of its leads!

“The Villain of Romance” is a coming-of-age story and realistic romance drama about young college “villains” who are still learning about love. B1A4’s Cha Sun Woo will star as Kang Hee Jae, who insists that he is a cool and understanding guy, but isn’t actually cool in the slightest when it comes to romance and his feelings.

Ha Seung Ri will play Ban Yu Jin, a highly intelligent older student at Kang Hee Jae’s college. She starts to worry that she might end up living a lonely life due to her inability to keep a relationship going for longer than 100 days. When Hee Jae boldly asks her out, she decides to put the younger guy through some intense “training” as they date.

Choi Yeon and Shin Ji Won will also appear in the drama as campus couple Nam Hyun and Go Yoon.

In the first poster, Kang Hee Jae and Nam Hyun are holding bouquets of flowers while their girlfriends Ban Yu Jin and Go Yoon are talking on the phone. The two women’s facial expressions pique curiosity about what kind of “villainous” things might have happened between the couples.

The second poster includes some moments between the two couples that will make viewers’ hearts flutter. In one snapshot, Nam Hyun is stroking Go Yoon’s face, while in another, Kang Hee Jae and Ban Yu Jin are captured moments before a kiss.

Meanwhile, the caption reads, “We were also someone’s villain when we were in love,” heightening anticipation for what kind of campus love stories will unfold in this new drama.

“The Villain of Romance” premieres on June 5 at 11:30 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.
