May Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from April 25 to May 25.
BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,638,894 for May. High-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis included “10th anniversary medal,” “THE PLANET,” and “Billboard,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “achieve,” “award,” and “release.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 87.56 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 5,316,470.
IVE came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 5,020,997 for the month.
SEVENTEEN rose to fourth place after enjoying an impressive 96.15 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score to 4,695,065 for May.
Finally, NewJeans rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,063,240.
