BTS's Jimin's "FAST X" OST Debuts On UK's Official Singles Chart, Breaking Record For Korean Soloists
BTS’s Jimin has made history on the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart!
On May 26 local time, the Official Charts (typically regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) revealed that “Angel Pt. 1,” BTS’s Jimin’s new collaboration with NLE Choppa, Kodak Black, JVKE, and Muni Long for the “FAST X” soundtrack, had debuted at No. 82 on its Official Singles Chart.
“Angel Pt. 1” is Jimin’s fourth solo song to enter the Official Singles Chart, setting a new record for the most chart entries of any Korean soloist in history. (The previous record was a three-way tie between PSY, BTS’s J-Hope, and BTS’ Suga, all of whom have three solo chart entries to date.)
Jimin previously entered the chart with “VIBE“—his hit collab with BIGBANG’s Taeyang—and his solo tracks “Set Me Free Pt.2” and “Like Crazy,” the latter of which made him the first Korean soloist ever to debut in the top 10.
“Angel Pt. 1” also debuted at No. 3 on both the Official Singles Sales chart and the Official Singles Downloads Chart this week.
Congratulations to Jimin on his new record!
