Chun Woo Hee Wears Many Faces As A Dangerous Con Artist And Prison Inmate In "Delightfully Deceitful"
Get ready to see many different sides of Chun Woo Hee in her upcoming drama “Delightfully Deceitful”!
tvN’s “Delightfully Deceitful” is a thrilling revenge drama about a con artist who lacks empathy (played by Chun Woo Hee) and an attorney who is excessively empathetic by nature (Kim Dong Wook). In order to battle evil, these two polar opposites team up to form an unlikely alliance.
A born genius, Chun Woo Hee’s character Lee Ro Um received media attention at a young age for being a child prodigy. However, within a matter of years, she finds herself famous for a very different reason: the young girl once known as a “memorization genius” is locked up in prison after being branded an evil psychopath who killed her parents.
In one newly released still from her time in prison, Lee Ro Um exudes an air of melancholy innocence that makes it hard to believe she could capable of hurting someone.
However, the next photo shows a very different side of the character. Late at night, when everyone else in their cell has fallen asleep, Lee Ro Um menacingly holds a straw over the eye of the prisoner lying next to her, suggesting that she may be far more dangerous than she seems on the surface.
Later, after leaving prison, Lee Ro Um makes a glamorous transformation into a seductive femme fatale for a carefully plotted scheme. The con artist sits at a casino table looking every bit like the seasoned gambler she isn’t, raising the question of why she’s at the casino—and whom she’s trying to lure in with her act.
“Delightfully Deceitful” will premiere on May 29 at 8:50 p.m. KST. Check out the latest teaser for the drama here!
