BTS's RM Announced As Ambassador For MND Agency For KIA Recovery & Identification

BTS’s RM will serve as an ambassador for the MDA (Ministry of National Defense) Agency for KIA (Killed in Action) Recovery & Identification, also known as MAKRI.

On May 31, BIGHIT MUSIC shared that RM will be officially appointed as the public relations ambassador for MAKRI on June 1.

MAKRI is an organization that recovers the remains of war heroes who lost their lives in the Korean War and returns them to their families.

RM, as the public relations ambassador, plans to participate in activities to promote MAKRI’s projects in various ways. Following professor Seo Kyung Deok and veteran MC Song Hae, RM will become the third public relations ambassador.

BTS, which RM is the leader of, debuted in June 2013 and will soon celebrate their 10th anniversary with the 2023 Festa. The members are fulfilling their military service in turn, and BTS aims to resume their activities as a full group in 2025.
