aespa’s Giselle will be unable to participate in scheduled activities in the United States due to health reasons.

On June 7, SM Entertainment stated, “Giselle will be unable to participate in the upcoming Governors Ball due to health reasons.”

Earlier this morning, fellow aespa members Karina, Winter, and Ningning headed to New York to perform at The Governors Ball. aespa will be performing on the main stage on Day 2 of the multi-day festival which is held from June 9 through 11 at Flushing Meadows.

aespa’s upcoming “Knowing Bros” (“Ask Us Anything”) appearance will feature three members as Giselle sits out for health reasons.

On June 1, SM Entertainment shared the following statement on aespa’s official fan community:

Hello.

For health reasons, aespa’s Giselle will inevitably be absent from the “Knowing Bros” filming scheduled for today (June 1).

Only Karina, Winter, and NingNing will participate in the “Knowing Bros” filming so we ask for your understanding.

Thank you.

In May, aespa was confirmed to appear as a full group on JTBC’s popular variety show “Knowing Bros” with their episode airing later this month.
