BTS's 'Dynamite' Becomes 1st K-Pop Boy Group MV To Surpass 1.7 Billion Views

BTS’s “Dynamite” music video has achieved an impressive YouTube milestone!

On June 5 at approximately 8:34 p.m. KST, BTS’s music video for their 2020 smash hit “Dynamite” surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube! The song was originally released on August 21, 2020 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took around two years, nine months, and fifteen days to achieve this feat.

In addition to being BTS’s first music video to reach 1.7 billion views, “Dynamite” is also the first music video by a Korean boy group to do so.

“Dynamite” is now only the fourth K-pop music video to hit 1.7 billion views overall, following PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love.”
