Disney+ original series “Shadow Detective” Season 2 has confirmed its premiere date with an intriguing poster image!

“Shadow Detective” is a crime thriller that first aired in October 2022 and depicts the story of Kim Taek Rok (Lee Sung Min), a veteran homicide detective who suddenly starts getting calls from someone who calls himself an old friend. The caller frames him for murder and starts to blackmail him.

The upcoming second season will follow the counter-attack of Kim Taek Rok as he returns to hunt down his blackmailer “friend.”

The released poster not only confirms the return of Taek Rok but also captures his unique style as a veteran homicide detective with 30 years of experience.

Kim Taek Rok is documenting something in a room filled with case files. Between the room filled with case files and the words on the poster that read, “I record everything,” viewers can’t help but wonder if there is a trace of the “friend” Taek Rok so desperately wants to catch in the files and if this season will uncover a larger conspiracy.

“Shadow Detective 2,” which is already garnering a lot of buzz for its cast lineup including Lee Sung Min, Kyung Soo Jin, Lee Hak Joo, Jung Jin Young, and Kim Shin Rok, is set to be even bigger than the first season and promises to captivate viewers around the world with a suspenseful story that will keep them guessing.

“Shadow Detective 2” will premiere on July 5.
