"The Roundup: No Way Out" Soars Past 6 Million Moviegoers With 7-Day Reign At No. 1
“The Roundup: No Way Out” (also known as “The Outlaws 3”) shows no signs of slowing down at the box office!
On June 7, the Korean Film Council announced that as of the day before (June 6), “The Roundup: No Way Out” had reached an incredible total of 6,053,224 moviegoers. Ever since its release on May 31, the film has enjoyed an uninterrupted seven-day streak at No. 1 at the Korean box office.
Not only did “The Roundup: No Way Out” manage to surpass 6 million moviegoers in just one week—five days faster than “The Roundup,” the previous film in the “Outlaws” franchise—but it reached the milestone at the same speed as the box office juggernauts “The Admiral: Roaring Currents” and “Train to Busan.”
Both films eventually went on to surpass 11.5 million moviegoers within Korea, with “The Admiral: Roaring Currents” currently holding the record for the most-watched film in Korean box office history.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of “The Roundup: No Way Out”!
