"The Roundup: No Way Out" Surpasses 8 Million Moviegoers In Just 2 Weeks
Viewers are still flocking to theaters to watch “The Roundup: No Way Out” (also known as “The Outlaws 3”)!
On June 13, the Korean Film Council announced that as of 3 p.m. KST that day, “The Roundup: No Way Out” had surpassed 8 million moviegoers, making it the first Korean film to reach the milestone in 2023.
“The Roundup: No Way Out” hit the 8 million mark less than 14 days after its initial release, beating the record of its prequel “The Roundup” (“The Outlaws 2”) by four days. “The Roundup: No Way Out” also reached 8 million moviegoers faster than the hit films “Parasite” and “Assassination” (which took 17 days to hit 8 million), as well as “Veteran” (18 days).
To celebrate their achievement, the cast of “The Roundup: No Way Out” got together to thank audiences through a brief video, which you can check out below!
