Kim Hye Soo In Talks To Star In New Office Comedy Drama
Kim Hye Soo may be starring in a new drama!
On June 15, Sports Chosun reported that Kim Hye Soo will star in the new drama “Trigger” (working title) by Producing Director (PD) Yoo Seon Dong of “The Uncanny Counter.”
In response to the report, Kim Hye Soo’s agency HODU&U Entertainment shared, “Kim Hye Soo received an offer to star in the drama ‘Trigger’ and is reviewing the offer.”
“Trigger” is an office comedy drama set against the backdrop of Korea’s first Investigative Journalism Bureau of a broadcasting company. Kim Hye Soo is reportedly offered the role of the Investigative Journalism Bureau’s team leader with a strong sense of justice.
If Kim Hye Soo accepts the offer, she will be returning to the small screen after a year following her last drama “The Queen’s Umbrella.”
Currently, Kim Hye Soo is waiting for the release of her new film “Smugglers” directed by Ryu Seung Wan which will hit theaters on July 26.
